Lou Moore-Jacobsen
Lou Moore Jacobsen came to Cal Poly in 2016 with more than 40 years experience training and showing both horses and mules. With more than 20 world, state and reserve championships from the American Paint Horse Association and American Quarter Horse Association, she hopes to pass on to her students the knowledge of how to safely and successfully handle and train horses for any discipline. She is the advisor and head coach of the Cal Poly Equestrian Team, and enjoys working with and traveling to shows with the team. Jacobson is also the advisor for the Cal Poly Dressage Team and guides students through a variety of equine classes and enterprises.
