Jason Dubowsky is a lecturer in beef cattle within Cal Poly’s Animal Science Department. As a student, he gained extensive experience working at the university’s beef unit and contributing to multiple cattle research projects. Now, as a proud alumnus, Dubowsky is committed to preparing the next generation of beef industry leaders by emphasizing Cal Poly’s “Learn by Doing” philosophy. His teaching focuses on building students’ technical knowledge, practical skills, and confidence in the beef cattle sector. In addition to teaching, he advises the Young Cattlemen’s Association and serves as Secretary for the San Luis Obispo County Cattlemen’s Association.
