Cindy Roberts

Cindy Roberts is a lecturer for beginning and intermediate horsemanship courses, ASCI 265 and ASCI 224 lab, and oversees the thoroughbred enterprise. She earned a master’s degree from Cal Poly, Pomona, and has more than 25 years of experience as an instructor for high school and college courses. Roberts was the coach and high school rodeo team advisor at Atascadero High School for more than a decade.

Roberts riding experience includes cutting, reining, and dressage. She has competed in professional barrel racing for more than 20 years. She is an active member of the Woman’s Professional Rodeo Association, West Coast Barrel Racing Association, and a variety of other equine associations. Her instruction is focused on combining safety and effective communication to achieve the goal of a positive learning experience for each individual student.
