The Swine Center maintains housing for two students. These students are in charge of managing all aspects of the swine operation and facilities. For information about these opportunities contact Dr. Allen Pettey.

 

A Swine management Enterprise is offered during Winter Quarterand involves 10-12 students who manage the farrowing and care of approximately 100 pigs to be raised and sold to local youth for 4-H and FFA projects at the county fairs.  The enterprise project also assists in conducting a swine educational field day for all local youth.
